I just got a 84 650 nighhawk. I love it so far but it has a few issues that I´m working to resolve. It seems like it is wasting too much gas. One tank wont last me more than 40 miles, Anyone know why or is it normal for this bike? it seems to be leaking gas out of one of the carbs. I´m looking into fixing that by replacing the gauges. Also I cant seem to get it to go any faster than 65, and even getting it there it is a fight. It seems like it loses power once it is there and it starts slowing down. On an average I can run it around 55 to 60. The specs say it can hit 100 mph. Not that I want to get it there but I would like to go with the flow of traffic on the free way. Any help would be awesome.
