hi all,just joined up today . what a great forum this is with loads of information for bikes and scooters [i owne a gilera scooter and a harley sportster].the gilera scooter is an 08 modle,great engine, great style,good brakes,good handling,.bad points are-poor suspention,poor riding position,hard seat[dome shape under seat for helmet makes seat foam very thin just where you sit!!!!]changes made-new BITUBO rear gas shocks,audable beeper for turn signals.changes still to do,buy another seat[second hand]for reshaping into bench type style with foam thickness the same along length of seat[so you can change position].to sum up,a good scooter let down by poor rear suspention and poor seat design.ps,anyone got a damaged seat to sell me ?.
