Now that I have 300 miles on the Pegasus and one oil change I have begun to run at full throttle on state highways for brief intervals. The throttle response and disc brakes are impressive. The scooter is stable and easily held in a track selected by the driver. I have learned to be patient on cold mornings to allow the engine to idle a minute before attempting to accelerate (35 degrees outside). Most distressing is the mirror adjustment friction (or lack thereof) and the slippery surface of the floor mat. My Tennessee license plate arrived this week and the speedometer indicated 65 on my return from the dealer. Also the high beam headlight seems as bright as full size motorcycles!! Overall still very pleased with the machine.
