After having a couple of 50cc scooters then a 125 cc scooter i decided to buy a ´proper´ geared bike to learn on with a view to taking my test. I bought the AJS off ebay a few weeks ago, a 2008 model with only 415 km on the clock. I havent any experience with any other bike so all i can say is that at the moment the AJS is fab ! As a new rider / learner it seems to be ideal for me, it´s easy to ride, easy to start and is doing brill at getting me to and from work 25 miles away. I did look at prices for new bikes but they were just too expensive as a learner - i opted for a second hand bike off ebay - price was my main concern. At the moment the bike is good, hardly uses petrol and i feel i have had all round value for money. |
