Single seat convert to a two seater

I just purchased a 1999 Honda CBR 600 F4 yesterday and I have a question. Is there is a way of converting the single seat into two seats? I don´t mind the seat too much as is now, however the lock for it is broken. Do I need to replace the whole seat or can I just change the lock?
