Finally a proud owner of a KLR. Have submerged myself in the internet World of the KLR lately, new to the motorcycle scene (i can ride). The idea of a dual sport had crossed my mind, but until your actually on one. Ride the hell out of it getting to the dirt and then go for miles away from anyone and feel perfectly comfortable that the bike will get you home, I´m hooked. My bike only has 2200 miles, and unmolested. The doohicky fix to be done soon. with all the easy modifications for minor power upgrades is the exhaust cam advance and carb needle mod come to show any issues since being discovered. I would rather leave her stock and reliable than play with it and loose the confidence in it. Thanks for any help. Anyone have a engine skidplate wanting to get rid of? |
