I have a 1986 Goldwing Asp. with just about 100k miles...with good maintenance , trouble free motor and trans. But i am going to part with it..Looking for a new Touring Bike.I am down to 2 choices , another Goldwing or a Victory Vision Tour 2010..I know the reliability of the Goldwing ,also lived it, but i am also tempted to go for a V twin. That s were the Victory come in.. I can not find any info on how reliable the mechanics are .. Any owner of Victory will say it is a reliable bike, but when you ask them how many miles they got on there bike , it is low mileage 5k,10k,20k.. That is not high..one thing i have notice being around and talking with different motorcycle groups,,is that a lot of these big bore V twins need some kind major motor job around 40k to 60k miles..is this the case with this Victory Vision V Twin...is there anybody that have info or ran high mileage on these big V Twin...
