Hello, I´m new to this discussion group. I now have a 1999 Vulcan Nomad with only 4K miles on it. It sat unused for so long that a valve cover gasket has become brittle and now leaks when I start the engine. I was told that you have to drop the engine in order to change the gasket. I´m no mechanic but ... really? How do I go about changing the gasket?
