Drive line wear

Anyone that owns a C50T (or M). you need to check the end of the drive shaft (Propeller Shaft) that connects to the rear differential for wear. I found that Suzuki does not lube the splines on either of the parts because they feel that the oil seal is good enough to prevent moisture. I found that the gears had rusted on both parts on my bike and after checking other blogs, This is a known problem. Cost for me to fix was over $250. Next time you remove the rear wheel it would be wise to check for wear. You will need a new oil seal (about $10) as the one you will remove will be no longer any good.
