Clutch Lifter Rod Issues

Clutch Lifter Rod Issues

Installed new clutch plates on a 08 CRF230l and put everything back together haven´t put the new oil in yet, but when I pull the clutch lever nothing happens. It seems that the lifter plate rod is not engaging the plate. If i don´t tighten the liter plate screws all the way, which allows it to \\
