troubleshooting HD 2008 Road Glide FLTR

my amber light went on...on the left gauge...the idle went up to 1500 RPM..no throttle response...then I turned it off and it went back to normal...does anybody know what this is about or experienced this before. or can tell me what I should look for to remedy this
