Problems with keeping a DR 100 Running

Ok this is driving me crazy. I have a DR100. It is actually an 84 but this was the page I found. I have had it in the shop for 2 months + now. The carb looks great. Had the head re-done. Compression is good. Replaced the coil. The problem is that it starts runs for about 10 min then shuts down. You can let it cool for about 30 min then it will start again but only for about 10 min. Does anyone have any ideas what might be the issue? I have no clue and neither does my machanic. HELP!!!!
