I have an 84 DR 100 as well. Did you ever get this bike running? Problem I have with mine is that it will not start without the choke on, regardless of how warm the engine is. I have cleaned the carb, will nto idle and will not start without choke on. I thinkk it is a fuel air problem but not sure how to adjust the fuel/air misture. I noticed on the bottom of the Mikuni Carb that there is a screw which may be the fuel air mixture but maybe someone out there has had a similar problem.
