2005 Viaggio RX50

My neighbor moved away and left me a 2005 Viaggio RX50. Myself and my friend who´s an automobile mechanic discovered it needs a new belt and a spring for the clutch is gone. But we´re having the darndest time trying to get the nut off to take the clutch wheel off. Is there something funky going on here that we don´t know about or do have to get a power wrench? I would appreciate any help anyone can give. Thank you.
