What is this exactly??

What is this exactly??

I do not know what kind of indian I have, I was told by the seller that is was a 71 Italjet 100 but I found that it was manufactured in 74 and the engine case does not say italjet but rather its a big M or G logo, anyway I dont know how to post pics on your site yet but any ideas on how to go about identifying what this is would be great!
