| Hi all recently purchased a 81 ,4 cyl xj,ruff as mike tyson,loads of bits with it,he bottle fed and i heard her run,at home stripped ,painted and nearlly complete,however i cant get her to start,tried most things,will semi run if i use easy start,cleaned carbs all 4 small jets were blocked,so tried again to no avail,had the small pipe from tank just dangling,apparantly it goes on the no1 inlet,i took the cap off and tried ,no luck,also ive a long wire comming from near gear lever,its white male connecter with a blk sleeve with no apparent home,also ive only put the downpipes on ,ive bobbed the bike so wasnt planning using the rest of the motad it came with cheers,any help is better than no help |
