A twin has a different feel. Anyone who told you they have less torque or hp is wrong. My RC51 cranks 140+ at the rear wheel and will just about kick you off if you twist your wrist to hard! Twins produce their power much lower in the rpm band than a four. Loads of fun cause its useable power, not at 13000+ rpm like a four. (where you gonna use that except on the track?) Heavy is also a myth. The RC51 looks heavy but at 425 pnds I´m just 10 pnds heavier than a CBR600RR! I can eat him for breakfast. Anyway, I owned GSXR750´s, VFR´s, etc. in the past and a twin is definitely a different feel (power delivery entering and exiting corners for example) that is not for everyone´s liking. It is a unique ride though!
