Vespa GTs250ie - spluttering accelleration

I have a 2006 model which has just done 3000kms. From time to time I get a severe ´stuttering´ from the accelleration (like Kangaroo petrol). Has anyone else had this problem and what was the fix please? Apart from that it´s been excellent.
