I should have given some info. Born-again biker. Rode trail bikes into my 20´s but never took my test. Now mid 40´s and back on bikes for 6 years. I had an old XBR500 single for a year after my direct access test before getting the VFR800. Only just sold the XBR as I´d stopped using it. I´ve also done the IAM advanced riding test which I thought was excellent training. I do about 6,000 miles a year and I´m looking for the excuse to do Lands End to John O´Groats sometime soon. I do some of the service work but most done by my local shop (Bishop´s of Bath) who are small but brilliant. Phil |
