I have bought a 2005 edition of this bike and the electronics work better the more I throttle, the previous owner said it does not use a battery it uses a generator and I need to be over a certain rpm to work the electronics (lights/indicators) and I feel this could be potentially dangerous on the road, I have looked on the internet for a battery for this bike and there is batteries available and my friends all suggest it work by battery however I do not actually have a clue what is wrong, I wish to know wether this uses a battery or not, can someone please help?
