Sorry, i´m unsure about the injection? I thought 08 model to be injected and 07 carby only for this size bike.It does however have 3d mapping for the ignition. The pipe is very restrictive and with the standard gearing the bike sort of feels asthmatic. I figure by gearing it down a touch, I get the out of it in a cheaper way.Besides, I am waay too old to be tapping the kind of speeds in the bush, that it puts out when your under it.( 95+ mph)On a long piece of track, anything that WAS in front of you is quickly pushed behind, It eats up distance in a blur, After having the scenery become one, then me become one with the scenery....I think slowing it down is good idea. Oh, by the way...the bike handles a tumble with heaps more dignity than I. It is one strongly built bike, with an even stronger heart. the tracks I ride on are mainly steep TIGHT , often with logs hidden from view on a crest, the lower gears will suit this more than the warp speed gears on it. My only issue, tyres. I have a feeling this bike is going to chew up rears on a REAL regular basis.( 600 miles ish) But hey, small price to pay for this quality of fun. the standard set up of the bike is rather spot on for me.(6´4. 210lb. app.) arm pump is non existent..seat will take some time to soften up though. Butt fatigue is an issue. I´m using motul oil, regular changes is the plan as this bike fairly pulverises the oil. I think 500 - 1000 k, depending on how hard i treat it. 17 lb fr..22lb rear, seems to work, i have the front sus. -2 comp. -1 reb. this will change once it all beds in.( taking a fair time)I´m not sure where the rear is meant to be(spring was wound almost right down when delivered.) I have backed it off a fair way, and is now softer and more compliant, sag is about 2-3\
