I got to within 24 hours of parting with enough money for a deposit only to discover that I cannot insure this bike for less than £1,000!!!! 44 years old and 3 years no claims - Duke ST3 and Bee Em K1200R Sport sub £500 for the same conditions. Apparantly Moto Guzzi have not given the technical gen to the ABI so the underwriters can not rate the bike one broker thought that it was a dirt bike not meant for the road - HELP!
