I picked up a used 1200RT today with a dead battery. Dealer wanted $156 for a gel cell. Batteries and Bulbs wanted $161 after some sort of discount. I went to Budget Batteries and their replacement was $101 OR I could go with another similar style gel cell for only $48! They use them in power backup systems and they have a one year warrantee. Uses a bolt and nut instead of a bolt that goes into a threaded recess. Who cares? Not me! I can replace it every other year for that price.
