What bike to buy? Definitely a 1000cc or above. Need to drive longer distances comfortably but need to look at running expenses. My friend tells me the R1 is nice but a hard ride …. not really suitable for long distance. I like the Hayabusa but am told I will get only 2000km on a back tyre . Kawasaki ZZR 1400 looks awesome, but has it the same downfall with tyres? Can I commute on the bike comfortably? Which bikes are high maintenance? Is it an impossibility to find an all round, high performance, medium maintenance, long and short distance bike that I am looking for?

Now I have heard about the Blackbird (classy, fast and smooth). Honda South Africa does not import this bike but I know a guy that can. Anyone can tell me if the Blackbird is the one to get?
