It runs somewhere around 5k. I once pushed it just over 100mph (not recommended)which almost ripped my face off. I moved far from work and rode 30 miles each way 75 mph for over a year. I had to press up over every bridge/highway seam to avoid lower back pain. There is little wind protection and I had to switch to a full face helmet. I had two valve covers leak. I had carb problems, tire pressure problems, and the bike was not loud enough. It was fine on the highway, if you are tough enough and you work around these small caveats. Much better in town of course and the wife loves riding on the back. Still not loud enough so have the pipes changed (along with rejetting) before taking it home.
