First off, I´m new to riding motorcycles. In fact, I took the motorcycle class one year ago in July. I own a Honda crf 230L. I ride daily to work on a nice stretch of rode at roughly 25 - 30 mph. I bought the Honda because of the low seat height and it is not too heavy. I´ve done some off-road, but not a lot. It takes so much work to get it up to speed on the highway, I just don´t do it as often as I would like. Which brings me to my questions: Would you say that a KLX 250 is a good bike for a rider like me? Almost one year in with some off-road, who wants more off-road time. How well does it do on the highway? What is your average gas mileage? city streets/Highway? What made you buy the KLX 250?
