TDM engine jammed onto KLR 850???

has anyone thought of swapping a yamaha TDM850 or 900 engine into a KLR 850? Seems to me that this would work out and be awesome until you have to stop...brake upgrades are available. I don’t think there are any TDM engines in Canada now?
