Ok. Here is the deal. I have been in the market for some time for a new bike. I had Honda ACE which I loved. It was time to modernize and take the plunge. Test rode the Shadow 1100 and could not help but wonder why Honda is still pumping out old technology but then again its sales records keep it going strong. It felt very similar to my ACE in regards to overall torque. Went down the list on the big 4 and had to keep going back to the 900 Custom. Not only does the bike look so dam awesome close up, it has a tremendous presence when riding. Great torque and it handles fantastic. So I bought it. Have 1340 miles on it now and it just keeps getting better! The bike looks so huge that no one can believe it is a 900. And as far as speed I would put it up against any 1100 Cruiser on the market. In addition to great power it has silky smooth shifting and outstanding handling. All of this for 7300 bucks? It is about time! There is NOTHING in its price range that could come close! Thank you Kawasaki!
