recently the sidestand fell apart, not off, due to excessive wear. it appears to be a design flaw, not a maintenance issue. had to weld both the flange on the frame and the forks on the stand lever to build them up and grind to original shape to make the repair. has any one else experienced this problem? I looked at an 09 nomad and the design was re-engineered, so it appears that there was a problem with the original design. mine only has 17000 mi. on it and I am really disappointed here.
