i have the 2006 vanvan and it definitely turns heads with its retro style. two of my mates brought the vanvan as a frist bike and because of the fat tyres we tested the trail riding ability of the bike and its not bad on rough road but not on the dirt(i don´t advise you to do it though its still a road bike). theres only a couple of problems with the bike like the rear drum and the lack of power but you don´t buy the vanvan for power, you buy it for the style and relyabilaty. the only diffrents between the 06 and 07 model is the more retro paint job, i say buy with pride new or old!
