2007 drz 400s with starting probles

2007 drz 400s with starting probles

have a 2007 400s...when the ignition on the dash and headlight come on...hit the kill switch to on and push the starter... the dash stays lighted but the headlight goes out and nothing happens...no started noise...nothing...could use some help, please...any ideas?
