i own the 07 c50 and at first it didn´t have alot of power, I had it remaped at the local dealership and when I rode against a vulcan 900 there was no comparison me and my boy weigh in at over 400lbs and we blew the vulcan away, not sure how it would go up against the 1100 v star but given the chance I would bet it wouldn´t be to much better
