I was dogging on it a little with another biker going across a mountain, and I noticed that under wide open throttle in one of the upper gears, the RPMs would go up slightly without a corresponding increase in speed. Of course I backed off when I felt that sensation. Could this be a result of the four clutch springs needing replacement? I used motorcycle specific oil when I changed it. 26000 miles on odometer, only 1000 are mine. Secondly, hydraulic clutch lever doesn’t engage clutch until the last few millimeters of released lever. What’s the fix for this big annoyance?
