ag 100 designed specificly for many hours in the saddle, so comfortable seat, brush protectors for engine and feet and hands are a safety feature. Good fuel tank capacity with flat top for slinging new born calves over. low seat hight and kick stands on both sides added feature. Good strong racks for carting a hay bale the engine has a bigger than normal flywheel so it feels more like a 4 stroke at low rpm. cruising speed on bitumen around 75 km/hour. Enclosed and protected final drive O ring chain to back wheels means no mud gets on it and oil stays wet on chain for long time Cons Poor suspension travel on rear. sounds like a 2 stroke not the quiet burble of a 4 stroke. The ag 200 fixes the above problems but feels a lot heavier bike even though it to has a low centre of gravity. Not quite as good acting as a quarter horse for drafting calves away from their mothers in the field I have owned several ag 100s and one ag 200 for dairy/cattle farming in New Zealand. Ag 200 would make a good overland bike as it is tough, and peppy can easily travel 80,000 kms on farm with little maintenance apart from brakes and quick timing chain adjustment |
