| I am in the market looking for my first cruiser. (first bike) Yesterday while at the yamaha dealer, I was looking at the v star 1100 models when the sales person began telling me about the bike. The first thing he said is that I was too big for that paticular bike, I would be better off with a 1300. He also mentioned he has alot of women that come buy the 1100 models as opposed to men. I am 5ยด11 200lbs, and am in good physical shape. However as mentioned above, this is my first bike. Can anyone tell me if this is a smart choice. I did get on the bike and i must say it felt good. It did not feel as heavy as it appeared at first glance. The bike is more expensive than the 1100, but is it worth it, and further more is it a good idea. I appreciate any sincere feedback.
