07 Venture Puddle of Oil

This is a high miles bike, but have had zero issues since purchasing in May 2016. Coldest night this bike has run in so far (with me) is just above freezing. I rode the bike home from work (about 6 miles)and noticed while the bike was running in the driveway a puddle of oil forming directly under the center of the engine. Stops leaking when not running. Similar experiences from anyone?
