You can take the spark arrestor out for one thing I seen a little improvment when i did that and take out the hose ontop of the oil filter it just pops right out so it can breath better..you can take the screen out also on the oil filter box but i wouldnt recommend it. You can also pick up some Jets from the yamaha dealership and re-jet it to give it a little more boost. If you need any help with improving your bike my emails Drunkendragon@earthlink.net
