I am new here so apologize for any protocol flubs.... I recently bought a 2007 Sportster XL1200L and need tires so I pulled the front wheel off with no problem. Rear is a different story...belt guard and belt are off, clip and nut off left side...Brake caliper is off....but axle seems to be siezed. The Belt tensioning screws have been backed out but the right side is still tight. I got it to move enough to get the belt off but is is snug. I put the nut back on the left side and have been tapping it with a hammer and wood block but no movement. I know I need to buy a manual....but at this time if I can not get it I´ll have to reassemble it and take it to a shop. Any suggestions? |
