Greetings My Harley developed an oil leak between the head and the cylinders. It was found to need boring out 10 thouands over thus requiring new pistons. I have opted to stay with 9 to 1 compression. But I am having the valves etc polished and ported etc. My question is in regard to having an upgraded cam installed as oppossed to staying with the stock cam. I have a window of about a week to decide. I have opted also to have an after market upgraded module installed. What do want out of my bike? I ride back and forth to work regularly and some weekend rides just to get out. I do not want a race bike, I only want it to run good and also to continue enjoying the 41 miles per gallon average. Any input regarding these two decisions is greatly appreciated. Tom |
