I just bought a used 98 sportster 883 the only queston i have is a stupid one. I would like to know about the reserve tank. I was wondering if someone could tell me what position the value needs to be in to open it up incase i need to use it.When i got the bike last year the dial was pointing in the down position.I just want to make sure that was the off and yes im new to this and not very smart to all the parts of the bike as of this time. Thank you for your help
