Ok, my first Harley. I love it. But why would I not it says Harley on it! It looks cool! I changed the 883 breather plate to the screaming eagle. So with the new Vance & Hines pipes I changed to its no easy thing to say what this new sporty is? Is it a 1200 or 883? Did I mention the Vance & Hines short stagerd pipes look awsome and have a kick butt sound thats loud and says a Harley pulled up with that rumble we all love so much.In 2 months I have put 2900 miles on it because now I spread my legs as often as a 2 dollar ho. The forward controls and low profile of this bike make it fit my 5-7 3/4 inch body like a glove. They say the larger Harleys ride better? But when a bike fits perfectly like it does and thanks to the ruber mounts on the newer sportstsers motor I will ride it to China if they build me a bridge.Black pearl paint is nice but it was the only color in and like I said it says Harley on the tank ( my only must have)I plan to add a mustang solo with the stick on 2 up seat and riged bags, short sissy bar, straight pulled back drag bars threaded so only the brake and clutch cable show and thats all. Ok,Ok, some more chrome maybe some custom painting like flames? a suicide shift kit is available for it now and would make it a real blast to ride!Some more chrome, taking the plate off the back fender and side mounting it. Lighting it up to the max with the L.E.D. lights and some more chrome! Never nuff chrome dudes and dudets! Never nuff chrome! Now thinking of a little more bite to go with the growl ( thanks Vance & Hines!) I will likely get it bumped up to a 1200! and add some more chrome! Do I like the 2007 883 custom? Well ya! It handles great,rides low,stretches out with forward controles and is enough bike. But we all wana makem our own and there are tons of things to add to any Harley to make it as much yours as your signature. Thanks for reading my rant. Peace and be safe on your rides peoples!
