I sheared off the exhause valve adjustment screw when I was adjusting the valve clearance. I ordered a new one, and though it fits down into the rocker arm, the locknut from the one I sheared off will not fit on, rendering it useless. Does the locknut usually come already attached? Perhaps the threads on the nut are damaged from the sheering off of the other one?
