No it will not hurt it. i had a CB360 and was probably the tenth owner of it. I took on 3 hr two up trip all the time. So the 450 should do good as well! I even took it across Canada from Toronto to Vancouver island and back. It did over her and temp sieze from time to time but i was running hard n long. I am waiting to hear bach from a person on a CB450E. 27,000 km and it looks good in the phoro but i have to see it n hear it! A 8mm + 10 mm wrench are you best friend.
