I´ve never installed flush mount, but I was wondering what kind of turn signals you bought and went with...I know that if your bulb´s resistance or voltage or something is wrong you will get fast flashes, I purposely did it to my turn signals cuz I like the fast blinking look.

I would say try to replace the bulbs with the correct ones...sorry if that didn´t help.
