I took my 85 900 eliminator on a road trip for over 800 miles. On the highway running 75mph, I was able to go about 72 miles on a tank. I have discovered that in town running at lower speeds, it will likely do about 100 miles on a tank. In calculating MPG, I have seen from 25 - 50 mpg. So, from my experience, it´s all about how you ride it. I am looking into putting an auxiliary tank on it for my next road trip.
