20 years ago I owned a 85 zl 900 eliminator , I was young and dumb and I got rid of it . This past Thursday September 1st I was working and I seen a red 85 sitting at a store so I pulled in to look at it ! The owner came out and seen the look on my face . I knew it was not the one I owned because this zl 900 was in original mint condition ! I asked the guy if he would be willing to part with it . He said yes, it has 16,100 miles on it . He also said he only rides it twice a year .i didn´t care how much he wanted , I had to get it . Then he said $2,600 .......I met him the next morning with cash in hand ! It is everything I remember ! I still can´t believe my luck .....
