I just got a 1972 Honda CL175 on craigslist. I´m a novice awaiting the manual. In the meantime, some help would be appreciated.

Basically, it roars and wont go above 25mph no matter the gear.

Plugs look good, has gas, was idling pretty low. My guess at this point is that the left side isnt firing. When adjusting air mixture on left side carb, it didnt seem to make any difference at all in the idling.

How can I check this further and any other ideas? Thanks for the patience with my little experience.
