I just put an old 1972 CL 175 Honda back on the road (Kind of.)After sitting since 1984. It It keeps dying after I ride it for about 5 min. Tank and carbs and petcock have been cleaned. It will sit and idle for a long time but after riding for about 5 min it pukes out, Also it starts making a clunking noise when slowing down.)After it gets warm only. I dont even have to be on the brakes. I changed oil after about 50 miles on fresh oil and it has a bunch of metal in it(Aluminum)Ouch! Can´t really hear any noise in engine at idle or reved up when listening with a probe at different spots. I don´t know if it is loosing fire or what. I hooked up a timing light and it seems to flash ok as long as I am not riding it. ( Who knows what is going on then) Bike has only 1600 miles on it. It also leaks oil on the lt case side. Is this hard to fix? Could use some tips. Thanks Randy.
