700sc Over charging

Have had the 700sc for about a year with no troubles. All of a sudden, it´s overcharging. Checked the alternator out put, and for grounding to the case or between legs. All ok. I was getting 16 DCV out of the rectifier / regulator. Installed a new one today, and same situation.

Any thoughts ?
