I am the happy owner of a Lifan 250-4 bought march 2007.
I have driven 9000 kms without any major problems. The weak point on my machine has been the speedometer, which has been replaced 3 times as it stopped functioning after about 1000 kms. The dealer took the consequences and mounted a new speedometer from a Jinlun and since then it has worked OK.
It starts every morning at first push on the button, carries me 90 kms to and from work daily. It is not very fast, but allows me to follow traffic even on motorways, I think it gives me value for money and have never regretted to ´go chinese´
